Terms of Service

1. Who can use Striv FC

• You must be 16 or older. We block sign-up below 16, and if we learn that a player is under 16 we close and delete their account.
• You must give your real birth month and year. They decide what training is safe for you and which age group you are in, and they cannot be changed in the app. Giving a false birth date, to get in or to get into a different age group, breaks these terms.
• One account per person. Keep your sign-in to yourself.

2. What you get, by age

You move from the 16 and 17 group to 18 and over on the first day of the month after your 18th birth month. (We never ask for the day you were born, so this is the only date we can be sure you have turned 18.)

3. Training safely: please read

• Striv FC is not medical advice. The coach is an AI that builds training sessions from the information you give it. It is not a doctor, physiotherapist or athletic trainer, and it can get things wrong.
• You decide what you do. Warm up, train within your limits, and use a safe space and safe equipment. If something feels wrong, stop.
• Stop at once and get help if you have chest pain, faint, have trouble breathing, take a hard knock to the head, or feel confused. Tell an adult nearby and call emergency services if it is serious.
• Tell the app about injuries, and keep it up to date. If you are injured or in pain, see a doctor, physio or athletic trainer before training.
• If you are under 18, train with your parent or guardian’s knowledge, and follow your team coach’s guidance where it differs from the app.

4. Striv Pro, trials and payment

• Striv Pro is a subscription.
• You buy it through the App Store (or Google Play). Payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds are handled by Apple (or Google) under their terms, not by us.
• It renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel in your phone’s subscription settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Deleting your Striv FC account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in the App Store first.

5. Your content

“Your content” means everything you put into Striv FC: posts, captions, replies, reactions, your username and bio, clips, and anything else you write or upload.

• You own your content.
• You give Striv FC a limited licence to store it, process it, check it (including automatically, by our systems and our AI provider), and show it to the people you chose, only to run Striv FC. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except as described in our Privacy Policy (reports and legal holds).
• Clips are private. Nobody else can see them.
• You are responsible for your content, and for having permission from anyone else who appears in it.

6. The rules

Do not post, write, upload or send anything that:

1. is sexual, or sexualises anyone; anything sexual involving a minor is reported to the authorities;
2. bullies, harasses, threatens or humiliates anyone;
3. threatens or encourages violence, or encourages self-harm;
4. attacks people for their race, religion, nationality, gender, sexuality, disability or similar;
5. shares contact details (yours or anyone’s), links, or handles for other apps, or asks anyone to talk somewhere else;
6. shares someone’s private information, or shows someone without their consent;
7. pretends to be someone else, including staff, or lies about your age;
8. is spam, advertising or selling;
9. is illegal, or helps anyone break the law;
10. tries to get around our checks, our age rules or our limits (for example, by instructing the post checker, or using several accounts).

Also do not: try to reach anyone in a different age group; collect other players’ information; misuse reports; or interfere with the app or its servers.

7. How we keep it safe, and what we can do

• Every post, caption and reply is checked before anyone else sees it, automatically. It may be held for a person to review, and it appears only if it passes.
• You can report, block and mute any player, post or reply. A report of a child at risk hides the content, or blocks the player for you, straight away, until we review it.
• We may hide or remove content, stop you posting for a while, remove you from friends, or suspend or close your account, if we believe you have broken these rules or put someone at risk. We decide this ourselves, and we may act without warning where safety needs it.
• We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, and may work with law enforcement.
• If you think we got it wrong, email info@strivfc.com with the date and what happened. A person will look again.
• If you are struggling, you can call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, US) at any time. If someone is in danger now, call 911.

8. Our app and content

The app, the coach, the drill library, the design and the Striv FC name are ours or our licensors’.

9. The AI coach

Sessions are written by an AI from your information and our drill library, and checked by our own rules before you see them. They may not be perfect, and they are not a substitute for a qualified coach or medical advice.

10. Disclaimers

• Striv FC is provided as it is. We cannot promise it will always be available, work perfectly or be free of mistakes.
• Striv FC is not medical advice.
• If you have an injury or a medical condition, check with a doctor before you train with Striv FC.
• Train within your limits.
• To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for injuries from training you choose to do.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

11. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or close accounts as in section 7. What is deleted and what is kept is in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. For important changes we will tell you in the app before they apply. If you keep using Striv FC after that, the new terms apply.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA.
